This review is written about “Chaga Mushroom: The King of Medicinal Mushrooms” by Dr. Henry Donald. The book has a well-organized table of contents and seems to be written with care.
As per usual, the Chaga book goes through the most commonly asked questions about the mushroom, like; What are Chaga Mushrooms, Common names, Chaga mushrooms Ancient and Vast History, Medicinal Mushrooms to Promote health and Potential Health Benefits of Chaga, to name a few.
The other half of the book focuses on how to use Chaga, including a few recipes. The author Dr. Henry Donald also shares tips on where to buy Chaga tea and states that the product placements in the book, are a result of his research and analysis. In addition to the tea, he gives a few mentions to another Chaga brand.

Our skepticism arose towards the end of the book, after reading the following sentence. “Freeze drying (sometimes also called sublimation} process (lyophilization) is shown in the picture.” Since it seemed irrelevant, as the book doesn’t include any images, it was easy to find the original source of the information. Which opened our eyes to more copy-pasted chapters from that website.
“Chaga mushroom”, published independently in April of 2020 — gives you a good, comprehensive overview of the Chaga mushroom. We weren’t able to find any appropriate information about the author Dr. Henry Donald, but it seems like he has published close to a hundred low-content books on various health topics, as well as “How to make money on Amazon for beginners”.
The “Chaga Mushroom: The King of Medicinal Mushrooms” book lacks specific references to scientific studies. Printed in black and white, the 56-pages do not include any images or illustrations.
